As an Associate with the firm, Tawnya Ledbetter is responsible for the daily operations of DeMenna & Associates. She works closely with clients, legislators and legislative staff, coordinating the DeMenna & Associates office calendar with the legislative schedule. Tawnya also monitors the progress of legislation for our clients.
Before joining DeMenna & Associates, Tawnya served as the Arizona Senate Engrossing Clerk. As part of the staff of the Office of the Senate Secretary she was directly involved in the day-to-day management of the legislative process. Her experience with this process, her knowledge of the Senate and House rules of procedure, and her relationships with legislative staff provide Tawnya with a unique and in-depth understanding of government relations. Prior to her service as the Engrossing Clerk, Tawnya was the Arizona Senate Archivist, responsible for overseeing the Senate's critical records, and managing access to this information by Capitol staff and the general public.
Tawnya is a native Phoenician. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on U.S./Mexico Relations, Education and Women's Studies.
