Ryan Anderson is a Senior Associate with DeMenna & Associates. He regularly assists Kevin DeMenna in managing the lobbying, government relations, and public affairs needs of our clients. Ryan has been involved in each session of the Arizona legislature since 2001.
Prior to joining DeMenna & Associates, Ryan spent three years on the staff of the Arizona House of Representatives, and worked for two different House Speakers, including working for two sessions on the leadership staff with former Speaker Jake Flake.
While on the Speaker's staff, Ryan developed an extensive, first-hand knowledge of the Arizona legislative process, and worked directly with members of the Republican majority, the Democratic minority, and legislative staff. He assisted with member relations, research, legislative correspondence, policy development, media relations and the management of interim committees.
Ryan has been with DeMenna & Associates since 2003. Ryan's expertise includes a comprehensive knowledge of the Arizona Legislature, its members and staff, and the rules governing the process. Ryan works with a number of clients of the firm and he has an excellent understanding of many of the most pressing issues facing the state today. He also has solid experience in fundraising event planning for both political candidates and organizations.
Ryan is a native of Southern California and has lived in Arizona since 1989. He is a graduate of Arizona State University with concurrent Bachelor of Arts degrees in both political science and history.
